Over the course of this career, he has repeatedly contributed to Gross Margin and EBITDA growth year-over-year through innovative improvements for both internal and external customers, leveraging deep experience in leading end-to-end supply chain and operations across 50+ countries.

 

Dan is currently the Chief Operations Officer at Solenis.  Solenis is a ~8.5B water treatment services and supplies business owned by Private Equity.  He manages 72 manufacturing sites and more than 100 distribution/toller sites with an annual COGS spend over $5.5B. 

 

Prior to joining Solenis, Dan was Chief Supply Chain Officer at Dentsply Sirona a ~$4B dental supply company serving the oral healthcare markets with equipment and consumable supplies.  He managed 30 global manufacturing sites and 60 distribution sites with over 5,000 employees with an annual COGS spend of over ~$1.5B.  He was also the Chairperson of the D&I Council and the executive sponsor of 2 of the Employee Resource Groups.  Before Dentsply Sirona, Dan was Chief Supply Chain Officer at Axalta Coatings – a $4B global paint and coatings company – where he led an organizational change that redefined the way Axalta managed operations and supported their customers on a lower cost basis.  Dan was also Chief Supply Chain Officer at Sigma-Aldrich, where he led the charge in building a world-class global operation and supply chain function across 53 global locations supporting over 500,000 products to over 1 million customers.  Prior to Sigma-Aldrich, Dan was Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain at UOP, a Honeywell Company serving the oil and natural gas industry with 14 global locations.

 

Dan’s career started in shift operations, engineering, and corporate functions. Initially joining Westinghouse Savannah River Corporation (formerly DuPont Savannah River Site) and then later joining Morton International.  At Morton, he continued to take on progressive roles in production, materials management and plant engineering.  After Morton, he became the Plant Manager for Northstar Print Group, an employee-owned company that printed and manufactured labels for glass and plastic bottles.  Dan then held progressive global roles at Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc. (formerly a business unit from Eastman Chemical) managing 22 global locations with 1,500 employees.

 

Dan holds an M.B.A. from Clemson University and a B.S.M.E. from the University of Illinois.  He is married and has three daughters.
